Labels for Favors

by Amy on January 11, 2011

My sister has attended many events this past year having a Mitzvah aged child. At the end of each party, she has the same ritual of praying to sit down in the car and rip off her shoes as soon as her butt hits the carseat!

So, for my niece’s Bat Mitzvah, she came up with an ingenious idea!

For the ladies, she had a pair of spa slippers that were handed out as they exited the event. Whatever the favor may be, when shipped, it generally comes loose in a box or sometimes you get lucky and it comes in a bag. In this particular case, the slippers were individually wrapped in a clear cello bag. Instead of purchasing an additional bag, I created a label that had a little bit of humor and a little bit of a heartfelt sentiment!

Let’s just say the ladies were VERY HAPPY with this favor! (oh! my aching feet!) If you are wondering, everybody got a newspaper, water bottles and a New York style pretzel as well!

Below is a picture of my niece, Carly Lapidus with the spa slippers
